We’ve had press coverage in many motorsport and Volkswagen magazines, including Autosport, Motorsport News, Golf Plus, Full Throttle Magazine. We have been present at the Autosport International Show since 2007 when Marcus Pye, in his Autosport Magazine column, announced that the series was “One of the highlights of the show”.
Registered competitors have come from throughout the UK, and from a range of backgrounds, including seasoned racers, sprinters/ hillclimbers, trackday participants, and GTi enthusiasts. We feel it is important to race in a friendly and helpful atmosphere, making race days a social occasion. We are more than happy to offer advice on any aspect of racing, including getting an ARDS licence, preparing the car, and what to expect on race days.
Finally, we would welcome feedback throughout the season, relating to any aspect of the Championship from the regulations through to organisation/ administration of the events (contact email@example.com)
We are sure the 2016 championship will build on the strengths of previous years with close racing and a very friendly and helpful paddock environment.
We look forward to meeting you during the season!
The series caters for 2 wheel drive vehicles from VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. We saw a very varied grid in 2016 and this looks set to continue.
The regulations are based around power : weight ratio.
